I’ve been using the TWebbrowser component on VCL Units and on FMX Units without problems.
But when I just add the TWebbrowser component on a TFrame without doing something (even when I create a completely new Project and just place the Webbrowser on a new created TFrame), it doesn’t work..
I am able to compile without Errors, but after starting the App Delphi says “EREadError” and it cant read for example Webbrowser1.Position.X or another time it’s Webbrowser1.Width or something like that.
The courious thing is, that it is not the same component every time.
But when the TWebbrowser is directly placed onto a Unit it works (even sometimes (radom) on a Frame, but then it’s just one Frame.. for example I have Frame1..Frame8 and only in Frame6 it works)
I’ve been experiencing this issue on Windows 8.1 x86 with Delphi XE7 Update 1
I’ve been experiencing this issue on Windows 8.1 x86 with Delphi XE10
I’ve been experiencing this issue on Windows 7 x64 with Delphi XE10 Update 1
The error occured on the platforms above and even, when I try to compile it for an Android device connected to the Computer.
Is this just for me or do anyone of you know about that?
Is a workaround or a fix/patch aviable?
